Our standard research bundle comprises the following components:
Research Reports: Drill down on a sector or company, usually with a with a bias toward telecom/handset and the emerging digital content and digital living industries (i.e. SNS, online video, microblogs, group buying and e-commerce). Requests accepted and encouraged. ~25-30 pages. Monthly.
Research Notes: Insight and analysis of noteworthy data, trends & news in China tech, with a bias toward the same industries listed above. 1-2 pages. 1-2x per month.
Chart Books: Chart-driven data trackers that follow key performance metrics and trends in telecom and LCD TV. 20-30 pages. Chart-driven. 2 per quarter.
Channel Trends: A highly proprietary snapshot of issues affecting the electronics supply chain, from production of the iPad at Hon Hai to checking the order flow from Mediatek or touching base with component supplies. We use these check ups to determine the ability of companies to meet their projections. 2-3 per month.
Website Access: The RedTech website gives clients access to all our prior primary research, as well as a fast-growing database of secondary research and translated news briefs that we collect on a daily basis.
Optional Value Added Services
Surveys: 2-3 per quarter (Coming in Q3/Q4).
1) Digital Home Survey: Quarterly consumer survey to track the ways in which Chinese consumers are using technology. Includes details on brand preference, budgets and purchasing plans. Executed primarily in China's faster growing 'small' cities (~1mn population).
2) Quarterly Ad Buyer Focus Group: We interview a 10 senior ad buyers in China to keep on top of digital ad budget trends, i.e. spending for online video, mobile ads, in-game ads, SNS, microblog, etc.
3) Verticals: Niche surveys developed in collaboration with clients.
Principal Access: Monthly calls are also included with Michael to dig deeper into any particular subject of interest.
